As a Solutions Engineer your focus will be on building elegant, performant, Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) that solve real customer information problems, utilizing AJAX, REST, SOAP and related cloud-computing technologies.

The ideal candidate possesses a good balance of design, development, and cross-team communication skills, and has the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain vertical and custom user applications on top of the Indicee platform
Create compelling demos and sample applications to showcase the platform
Develop connectors, connection tools and data pumps to other online systems and databases
Produce public documentation pertaining to the applications, tools, and API
Proactively contribute improvements to the platform services
Respond to customer queries and requests

Qualifications:

Computer Science or similar science or engineering degree
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in software development, preferably in a commercial environment
Web application development experience
REST, SOAP, AJAX, HTML, CSS experience
Java and JavaScript skills
Experience working on cross-browser platforms
Familiarity with business data systems in general such as Excel, SQL Server, other BI tools
Knowledge of other popular business systems such as Salesforce
GWT, MySQL and php experience
Some experience of Linux as a platform and of configuring JBoss/Tomcat deployments
Ability to write quality user documentation and examples
