Developers need access and Indicee has opened up the hood for you. We’d tell you to roll up your sleeves, but you aren’t wearing any.

At its heart, Indicee is a Platform As A Service (PaaS) for BI. This platform, called iBIOS, is set of powerful, developer-extensible services for managing data and defining and running reports. Now, you can use the same services in your own application that Indicee uses to implement its own BI SaaS application.

The iBIOS layer exposes the core Indicee services allowing developers to take advantage of our powerful BI capabilities in 3 different ways:

Side by Side – In cases where your users are working directly with the Indicee SaaS application, developers can automate actions such as pushing data to Indicee at regular intervals or retrieving report results to update 3rd-party tools.

Embed Indicee – iBIOS APIs can be used to provide a complete, end-to-end BI solution within your host application. From integrated authentication using open standards to full report creation and design, developers can embed custom Indicee solutions into their applications, often in as little as a day. This means that you can add best-of-breed reporting and analysis without having to invest years in its development or maintenance.

Extend Indicee – One of the key benefits of our unique architecture is that developers can write extensions to our platform that allow their private engine session to use custom features. For instance, you could add a custom function to perform a dynamic lookup of interest rates.
